A Senior Construction Solicitor is required by a UK law firm in their Birmingham office. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Construction and Projects Solicitor with a very good technical understanding of commercial agreements to work on high quality, high value, nationwide projects. The firm's clients span across a wide range of business sectors such as health, energy, property, charity, housing and commercial and include private and public sector clients.
The role provides the Senior Construction Solicitor to work upon a caseload providing advise to clients advising of all forms of matters relating to NEC and JCT construction contracts.

An experienced Employment Lawyer is required to lead a team of six Employment Lawyers, in the Birmingham office of a UK law firm, dealing with high value, often complex and technically challenging employment cases including supreme court actions. Whilst managing a selective caseload and overseeing the operation of the team providing support, guidance and assistance in development.
The Employment team act on a wide range of employment claims such as unfair dismissal and discrimination requiring negotiating settlements on the client's behalf. The successful Head of Employment will have extensive Employment Law experience combined with proven people management skills.

Employment Claims Manager
An Employment Claims Manager is required to lead a successful Employment Law team of Employment Lawyers, based in Birmingham working upon a hybrid pattern, from an operational and performance perspective with responsibility for the future development of the department. Working closely with the senior management the Senior Employment Lawyer will have:
Previous people management skills
Employment law experience
Strong Commercial awareness
Proven communications skills both verbal and written
Hold a legal qualification such as qualification as a solicitor or legal executive
The Employment team work on behalf of individuals across the UK advising on all aspects of Employment law and this role will require the Legal Manager to lead by example, motivating, nurturing and delivering policy and strategy to ensure continued success.
Whilst the Employment Claims Manager will handle a selective number of high quality Employment Claims through Employment Tribunal.

Principal Employment Rights Solicitor
A Principal Employment Ringhts Solicitor with extensive Employment experience is required to work with a leading team working upon elite employment claims matters across a wide range of sectors.
The role presents technically challenging employment cases often on behalf of professional at the top of their profession. Whilst the role has a small number of elite files there will be the requirement to guide other lawyers in the team on their cases whilst managing the firm-wide implementation of strategies.
Responsibilities will include the identifying training needs and requirements, management of fee earners and managing performance. The team handle a wide range of Employment law cases including but, not limited to; disability discrimination, sex discrimination (direct and indirect), pregnancy discrimination, discrimination with lasting harm, equal pay, worker status, harassment, redundancy, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and negotiating settlements.

The role will suit an experienced Senior Employment Rights Lawyer with extensive Employment law background, people management experience, a desire to act upon behalf and ensure justice for clients within dispute with employers and at contentious Employment Tribunals, High Court or Supreme Court.
Salary dependent upon experience £75,000 to £85,000
