The Private Client Legal Secretary will support a Private Client Solicitor undertaking typing of legal documents via digital dictation, filing, opening and closing of files on a case management system, office administration, diary management and answer the telephone.
 
The Candidate
A proven Legal Secretary with excellent keyboard skills and good attention to detail. A polite and confident communicator.
 
Additional information
Full time, 5 days per week, competitive salary dependent upon experience. The Private Client Lawyer role is commutable from Salisbury, Yeovil, Sherborne, Warminster and Blandford.

The role requires previous familty legal secretary experience to assist fee earners and partners in the department with typing legal documentation, making appointments, managing diaries, answering client calls and arranging appointment, general administration and support associated with the private client fee earners.

This is an excellent opportunity for two Property Legal Secretaries to join a  Property team within a law firm based in Ashford, Kent and Canterbury, Kent.

The Role  
The Property Legal Secretary will provide support to the Partner and department, dealing
with client queries, preparation of correspondence and documents both self generated and by transcription of digital dictation; File administration including opening/closing/archiving client files in a timely manner, photocopying, filing etc; Assisting with all aspects of commercial sale and purchase transactions including ordering and investigating searches, official copies and Companies House documents, dealing with exchange and completion; Producing documents such as lease extensions, deeds, completion statements and Land Registry forms; Handling Stamp Duty Land Tax requirements including calculations, submissions and payments; Liaising with clients and agents as necessary;
 Maintaining and coordinating Partner's diary appointments and diary notes and reporting on these as necessary. Regular consideration of client files and liaising with Partner on any action required; Support the secretarial team; answering incoming calls, greeting visitors to Reception on occasion, collection/delivery of daily
 
The Candidate
This Property Legal Secretary role requires, preferably current legal secretary property experience, or previous property experience combined with excellent us of MS word at an advanced level.
