A specialist team of Healthcare Lawyers in Manchester have a requirement for an Inquests Solicitor to join a team providing support to the NHS and private healthcare providers. The role will enable the successful person to work upon a varied case load including inquest representation, Court of Protection, Mental Health and Public Law matters.
The team advise Healthcare clients including NHS organisations, private healthcare providers and regulators. This role will specifically focus on Healthcare Inquest work and therefore requires a Public Law Solicitor who can run a caseload from day one.
CQC regulation knowledge essential.
The role offers excellent quality and varied work from the outset.
Salary dependent upon experience.

An opportunity has arisen with in a dedicated Inquest and Court of Protection team based in Manchester. The Court of Protection Senior Lawyer will have a strong background in Health and Welfare, good knowledge of Health Care Regulations. Ideally, knowledge of or an interest to undertake Inquests would be highly beneficial.
This role will involve supervising and supporting a team of junior lawyers, advising clients on Court of Protection matters, working alongside a national team of leading lawyers and supportive colleagues,
The work includes dealing with some of the most important and politically sensitive cases for the NHS. The successful candidate will therefore need to be a confident lawyer who is self-motivated and able to develop the skills to work with very senior NHS management.

Senior Complex Litigation Lawyer
A leading UK law firm require and experienced Senior Complex Litigation Lawyer to join a nationwide UK law firm within a Corporate and Commercial department dealing with a varied mix of work across both the public sector and private clients, predominately in sectors including health, local government, emergency services and social housing.
The department advise on projects from "cradle to "grave", operational issues, termination and expiry issues as well as the design and structure projects. They also advise on the full range of disputes that can arise out of procurements including procurement disputes, design and construction disputes, operational disputes particularly in relation to payment disputes and fire safety disputes and termination disputes. Furthermore, the department have market-leading experience of advising on terminating PFI contracts in the health and emergency services sectors.
The work will include high quality work involving complex litigation at High Court and including Alternate Dispute Resolution.
The role will involve leading complex commercial disputes. Those disputes might include PFI / Projects / infrastructure disputes, procurement law disputes, IP disputes, competition investigations, and construction disputes.
Skills
·Specialises in complex commercial disputes;
·Has excellent drafting skills;
·is confident in managing clients, external counsel and experts;
·Will take early responsibility for handling High Court litigation and all forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution;
