A Manchester law firm has an opportunity for an experienced Data Breach Solicitor. This is a specialist role within a wide team and will offer the opportunity to work on a wide range of Information Law matters.
 
The work will incorporate data access response, data breaches, incident management, ICO investigations, supporting HR investigations, drafting information governance and handling contentious data protection cases.
 
As a qualified Solicitor with good Data Protection experience this role is a hybrid role. Excellent diverse and good quality work within a successful law firm.

Senior Healthcare Advisory Solicitor
 
A Senior Healthcare Advisory Solicitor is required to work as part of a leading department, in Manchester, dealing with Social Care and Healthcare clients with a wide range of issues including
 
- Inquests
- Litigation: including Court of Protection, judicial review and mental health tribunal matters
- Mental Health and Mental Capacity law, to include Deprivation of Liberty
- Public law, advising commissioning and service provider organisations on governance, powers and responsibilities, as well as funding and treatment decision making.
- Governance and patient safety investigations
- CQC and related health care regulation
- Confidentiality
- Information law (DPA/FOIA)
 
The Role and Responsibilities
The role will involve supervising and supporting a team of junior lawyers, advising clients on the above issues, working alongside a national team of leading lawyers and supportive colleagues. The work includes dealing with some of the most important and politically sensitive cases for the NHS.
 
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have demonstrable advisory experience including advocacy or an appetite to develop advocacy skills, preferably within a leading healthcare law practice.  The successful candidate will therefore need to be a confident lawyer who is self-motivated and able to develop the skills to work with very senior NHS management.
 
Salary to £70,000

Regulatory Senior Associate
 
A Leading national law firm has a requirement for a Regulatory Senior Associate to join a leading Regulatory team dealing with Regulators across Health, Education, Care and Law in their Manchester office.


The department have worked on some of the most complex and high profile cases faced by professional regulators and the successful Regulatory Senior Associate will be managing an investigatory caseload where it is alleged that the registrant's fitness to practise is impaired through misconduct, competence or health issues and preparing those cases for hearings before panels and committees of the relevant regulators. The work is varied, challenging and rewarding and the cases cover everything from large-scale fraud or multi- patient clinical failings through to inappropriate sexualised behaviour.
 
Salary dependent upon experience to £70,000 + bonus + benefits + hybrid and flexible working.
